Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance is Available
We believe the joy of music should be accessible to all. Dedham School of Music is committed to making our programs available to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. Families may apply for DSM financial aid while also participating in the Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture Program. Students may still apply for DSM financial aid even if they are not part of the Card to Culture Program.
Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture Program
We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture Program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across Massachusetts by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
Discounted Tuition for EBT and WIC card holders
Students of all ages enrolling in lessons, classes, or ensembles are eligible to receive 75% off tuition and fees using EBT and WIC cards while discounts last.
These discounts are limited so please get in touch with the DSM office to check if one is available. Just let us know you’re a cardholder when you call or email about enrolling.
If a discount is available, you won’t need to apply for our regular DSM Financial Aid unless you find it difficult to afford the remaining 25% of the tuition.
Discounted Tuition for ConnectorCare card holders
ConnectorCare card holders may also be eligible for 50% of their music lesson or class tuition.
All card discounts are limited, so please contact the office to find out if there are still discounts available. You don’t need to apply for financial aid unless you need assistance with the remaining 50% of the tuition.
