🎵 Giving Day is coming — May 1st!

Mark your calendars! On May 1st, you'll have the chance to support Dedham School of Music and help keep music alive in our community. DSM has been nurturing musicians of all ages, and every gift — big or small — makes a real difference.
Stay tuned for how you can give on May 1st. We can't wait to make some noise together! 🎹

The Dedham School of Music has served over 200 students this year — and with your help, we can keep growing. 🎵

This Giving Day (May 1), please consider a donation to DSM! Your gift helps us provide financial aid to 25% of our students, bring free music programming to Dedham Housing Authority residents and senior centers, support student auditions, and expand our community jams, ensembles, and concert series.

Donate through our website, Venmo @Dedham-Schoolofmusic, or mail a check to 671 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026. And check if your employer matches nonprofit donations — every gift counts!
Thank you for supporting music in our community. 🎶

The Mission of Dedham School of Music is “to provide an environment for people of all ages, abilities, and means to learn, play, and enjoy music.” This year DSM served over 200 students of all ages from Dedham, Boston, and surrounding towns. We are proud to once again provide a music program at the Dedham Housing Authority residences and financial aid to 25% of our students. But to continue this, we need your help.

Please consider a donation to DSM on Giving Day on May 1. You may donate here through our website, send a check to DSM at 671 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026, or find us on Venmo @Dedham-Schoolofmusic.

With Giving Day, you have the opportunity to join the ranks of our generous private donors from our community, Community Foundation MetroWest, The Ramsey McCluskey Family Foundation, The Hamilton Company Foundation, the Dedham Cultural Council, and other funders who have helped us increase our financial aid to our students and provide free programming in the community.

Your gift on Giving Day can help us reach our goals to:

Bring music to Dedham and the surrounding community

Provide financial aid to all students who qualify

Assist students with auditions for districts, All-State, musical theater, and college

Develop more ensembles for our students to play and sing together

Develop more opportunities for members of the Dedham community to participate in our drop in Bluegrass jams and our new Pop/Rock Unplugged Jam.
Our faculty don't just teach music — they live it. 🎶
Come see Tommy Chiu, Spencer Lee, Jon Catler, Linnea Bardarson, Walter Yee, and Katie Jillson take the stage for Notes of Generosity V, a faculty concert that's equal parts celebration and community.
